Get ready, cause boy do we have a nightmare date story for you. Grab some wine and a nice snack, we're talking about Fresh. The real question is, are we happy we swiped right on this one? Or are we cursing ourselves for not swiping left immediately? Also, Erika's mouth is watering while Roshane's questioning his commitment to survival. 

Eight Legged Freaks

We're raising a glass and toasting to our latest episode. We're a little early, but we're celebrating St. Patrick's Day with drinks and Eight Legged Freaks (2002).  We're doing our best to keep it together while dealing with some creepy crawlies, and seeing varying degrees of success. Also, Erika has a hiccup issue while Roshane has a fur issue.

Creep

Our new episode is creep creeping up on you...are you ready? Grab your cameras and get your guard up, we're talking about Creep (2014). This found footage movie takes you by surprise in more ways than one, but is this the kind of surprise you're looking for? Later, Erika is exhausted by some scares while Roshane appreciates a change in location. 

Bones

Spoilers ahead homies!! Movie breakdown starts at 15:15. 

 

The time has come, homies. We're finishing Black History Month with a breakdown of the movie Bones(2001)! We felt like we needed a little bit of extra help discussing this one though, and so we pulled in Kat and Jazz from Girl, That's Scary! Did this movie help us finish up the month with some bite? Later, we discuss stray dogs and bug out.

Spoilers ahead Homies!!! Movie synopsis starts at 9:36 . We're in Brooklyn today homies, and we're doing our best to survive the nights. Which means we're bobbing an weaving and trying to avoid this Vampire in Brooklyn (1995). Did Eddie Murphy have us under his spell in this one?? Later, Erika has some hair questions while Roshane has some seduction doubts.

Demon Knight

Spoilers Ahead Homies!!! Synopsis starts at 7:40. Notes/Breakdown starts at 14:30.

We've got a night of blood, cowboy hats, and sexy fantasies ahead of us homies, as we cover 1995's Demon Knight!! The CryptKeeper weaves us a pretty wild tale, but is it one worth hearing? Or should this one have been kept in the crypt? Also, Roshane and Erika have a lot of fun with a certain sound effect.

It's our first Black History Month episode and we are so excited to break it down! Erika gives a little background information while Roshane gives his compliments to the subtlety.

Get ready for some family drama and some unexpected twists! Also, Erika breaks down a true story while Roshane is frustrated with a therapist.  

Jennifer’s Body

This week we're making some sacrifices and spouting off one liners while we break down, Jennifer's Body (2009). Being a teenager can really suck, but at least we never went through this! We're here to decide if Jennifer's Body is worth resurrecting, or if it should finally be laid to rest. Later, Erika discusses a food fatality while Roshane's inner teen relates to a very specific line.

Black As Night

Spoilers ahead homies!! We're running off into the darkness and flashing our fangs, as we discuss 2021's, Black As Night. This Amazon Prime movie had as taking another updated look at vampires, but did we appreciate this new blood? Or were we longing for the classic Dracula? Also, Roshane shows some appreciation for a character while Erika's thinking of Tyler Perry.
